Toby is a mixed-media artist currently working in sculpture, metalsmithing, video art and papermaking. In their work they explore creatures of myth and imagination and the decay and growth of the environment. They skate a line around fantasy and reality, pulling threads from one to the other to be plucked and played with. Searching for something in these spaces of transformation, their work is both playful and yearning.
